Annually, U.S. News & World Report release their Best Countries ranking list utilizing a range of categories including agility, power, social purpose, women’s experience, forward-looking, racial equality, and the list goes on. Last year Switzerland bagged first place while Canada in second.
Canada bags Best Country 2021 title for the first time in history.
The top 10 countries are:
- Canada
- Japan
- Germany
- Switzerland
- Australia
- United States
- New Zealand
- United Kingson
- Sweden
- The Netherlands
There are sub rankings such as quality of life. In Sub ranking, Canada also topped the spot.
According to a press release, Canada is regarded as having a good job market and cares about human rights and social justice and is not viewed as corrupt.
It ranked first for social purpose, second for racial equality and sixth for entrepreneurship.
Canada didn’t crack the top ten categories which included adventure, cultural influence, heritage, or power.
More things in which Canada received recognition include a comfortable retirement, education, transparency and green living.
While Canada didn’t rank at the top for everything but did walk home with the gold medal at the end of the day.
