Considering the importance and benefits of the Caregiver program class to the Canadian society at large, Citizenship and Immigration Canada has launched two new pilot programs for the Caregiver class:

These two programs and indented to help economic establishment for Caregiver class immigrants and their family members and paving the way for temporary residents to Permeant residency upon completion of two years of employment under this class. The government also ensured the prevention of exploitation by employers and to mitigate the problems arising from prolonged family separation.

These two caregiver pilot programs no longer make the caregivers exist with the employing family.
Although, it is an option if both parties comply to do so, in which case the employer will not be permitted to reduce living and boarding expenditure from the caregiver’s remuneration.

  2. Meet minimum language requirement
  3. Have a one-year Canadian post-secondary credential or get their foreign credentials to assess by a CIC designated evaluation centers.
