The first Iteration of the Express Entry Draw was announced yesterday i.e. on the 1st of August 2023, under the “No Program Specified” category. This draw attracts qualified applicants from all the streams in the EE pool. The CRS cutoff scores stood at 517 and the total number of ITAs issued stood at 2000.
From observing the numbers that are being allotted to recent Express Entry draws targeting Health Care Sector and STEM and the “No Program Specified” categories, except “French Language Proficiency,” the number of ITA’s ranged between 500 and 700, and the CRS scores were between 439 and 511. For the French Language Proficiency category, the ITA’s 2300 and the CRS score 439 were high and low, respectively.
This Iteration of the August Express Entry draw, where the number of ITA’s was 2000, and the CRS score was 517, is still considered by many applicants in the general category as way too high, leaving them discontent with the results announced.
What to expect in the next round of target steams such as Health Care and STEM, the numbers are likely to be around 500 to 600 and the CRS score will be hovering around 440 and 475. With French Language proficiency ITA’s to be about 1500 and CRS scores around 425 and 450.
