IRCC announced the results, the CRS score stood at 557 and a total of 1500 ITA’s were issued in this iteration.
The long-awaited news of the Express Entry draw was announced on the 6th of July 2022. It was just last month that the Canadian Immigration Minister Hon. Sean Fraser announced that the government is planning to issue ITA for specialized in-demand fields, such as Health Care workers, Transport truck drivers, and the IT workforce. But the news came as a surprise to many; as it was announced for all streams of immigration and not just targeted one as one announced by the minister.The total number of invitations issued was 1500 and the CRS score stood at 557, these two numbers came as a surprise for many applicants in the EE pool. One because of the low number of invitations, much less than what it used to be before the pandemic i.e. 5000, and the high CRS score of 557, much higher than 468 announced on Dec. 23rd, 2020.The statistics released by the CIC were as follows:

Going by the CRS score and the number of ITA’s released yesterday, it is evident that the CRS score in the range of 500 plus is going to be the norm for at least another six months. But the number of invitations is likely to increase to previous levels, if the government lives up to its promise to clear the backlog of numbers in the EE pool at the earliest date.
