Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said he is working to formalize a request regarding suspend the arrival of international students in the province.by Ontario Premier Doug Ford
Speaking to reporters late Friday evening, Trudeau said Ontario was the only province to make such a request and that he was “happy to work with them more narrowly.”
“We will reach out to his officials today to formalize this request,” Trudeau said.
International students are currently exempt from Canada’s COVID-19 travel regulations . All students must be able to provide a valid study permit or an introductory letter indicating that they have been approved for a permit
