In view of Fraud Prevention Month, we want to share and alert our patrons and prospective student clients about an incident involving an International student from India, who was misguided by a dubious “college agent”, resulting in the student landing in a precarious situation. This kind of incident involves unregulated agents, that private schools from Canada are using to enroll students by not providing them with the true status of the school, that can offer PGWPs after completion of the course.
Students are left with little or no choice of recovering the fee paid to the school and in many cases, students stand a good chance of losing their status as International students, if a resolution of their case with the school in question does not take place on time.
