A super visa allows parents and grandparents to visit their child or grandchild for up to 2 years at a time. It provides multiple entries for a period of 10.
To be eligible for a super visa:
Applicant must be the parent or grandparent of a Canadian Citizen or a PR of Canada
Get a marked letter from their youngster or grandkid who welcomes them to Canada which incorporates the accompanying requirements:
- Guarantee of financial support during their stay
- List the number of individuals in the child or grandchild home.
- Copy of Canadian citizenship or PR document of child or grandchild
- Does not accept quotations with proof of payment of medical insurance from a Canadian insurance company, valid for one year with coverage of at least $ 100,000 from the date of entry.
How and where to apply from:
- An application for super-visa is made OUTSIDE Canada
- Be qualified to and be permitted to enter Canada
- Complete the immigration medical tests
- Fulfill other conditions.
- Ensure the child or grandchild has sufficient funds to support their stay in Canada, with documentary evidence such as pay stubs, income tax assessment documents, bank statements, and employment letter with the hiring date and salary details.
